ISLAMABAD: 12 Billion rupees were allocated to set up 217 Telecentres across the country during the first phase in the federal budget 2015-16
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the work was underway to connect 128 tehsils of the country especially less privileged areas with fiber optic. He said that another program in telecommunication sector worth 3.6 billion rupees would be launched to connect rural areas with the rest of the country.
