Karachi: A 1200-bed field isolation centre was inaugurated at the Karachi’s Expo Centre here on Thursday.
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Corps Commandar Karachi and provincial health minister Azra Pecheho was also present on the occasion.
The governor, speaking on the occasion, said that the isolation centre had been set up in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organisation.
He said that Pak Army worked shoulder to shoulder with the government in setting up the centre.
He added that the isolation centre would be functional until complete eradication of coronavirus.
