LAHORE: As many as 10 death row prisoners on early Tuesday (today) morning hanged till death in various cities of Punjab and Baluchistan.
The cities where executions were carried out include Mach, Lahore, Faisalabad, Gunjranwala, Sargodha, Toba Tek Singh and Multan.
Condemned prisoners Shakil and Sher Ali were executed in Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore over found guilty of murder.
While two death row inmates Iftakhar Ahmed and Asif Zeb breathed their last in Faisalabad jail. Iftakhar had killed three men in 2001 whereas Asif killed a man in 1996.
Moreover, Rana Faryad , Nawaz and Ishaq were hanged till death in Multan Central Jail, Gunjranwala and Sahiwal respectively.
Sargodha and Toba Tek Sindh each also witnessed hanging of two condemned prisoners.
In Mach jail of Baluchistan Muhammad Ibrahim was executed for a murder he committed in 2003.
