Karachi: The coromavirus pandemic has led to unemployment of 1.5 million Pakistanis over the period of three months.
This was stated in an Asian Development Bank report.
The report says the pandemic had badly affected the south Asian country.
It added that 2.2 million more Pakistanis are at risk of losing their jobs in the next 6 months. The Asia Pacific has been hit hard by the pandemic as about 150 million people have lost their jobs.
Accoring to the report, the highest rate of employment caused by the coronavirus has been recorded in Australia.
