کچھ سالوں پہلے ہمارے گھر کے سامنے ایک خوبصورت نیا مکان تعمیر ہوا ۔میں اکثر اپنے گھر کی بالکونی سے اس خالی گھر کو دیکھ کر یہ دعا کرتی کہ اللہ کرے جلد ازجلداس مکان میں مکین بھی خوبصورت آئیں۔ایک دن میرے بیٹے نے خبر دی کہ امی نئے مکان میں لوگ آگئے ہیں ۔ اچھا ۔ ۔ میں نے خوشی سے کہا کیسے ہیں ؟

کتنے لوگ ہیں ؟

پتہ نہیں بیٹے نے معصومیت سے جواب دیا ۔خیر بات آئی گئی ہوگئی ۔اس بات کو ایک ہفتہ ہی گزرا تھا کہ اس مکان میں رہنے والی خاتون خود میرے گھر آگئیں ۔مسکراتے چہرے۔ خوبصورت گفتگو ۔ باوقار شخصیت والی خاتون سے کچھ دیر کی ملاقات میں ان کے بارے میں کافی جان گئی ۔انھوں نے بتایا کہ ان کے چار بچے ہیں دو شادی شدہ بیٹیاں جبکہ دو کنوارے بیٹے ہیں ۔کافی عرصہ شعبہ تدریس میں وقت گزار کر قبل ازوقت ریٹائرمنٹ لےلی ہے ۔کافی مصروف زندگی گزاری۔

ابھی تک کرائے کے مکانوں میں رہتی رہیں ہیں ۔شوہر کے ریٹائرمنٹ کے بعد یہ مکان خریدا ہے ۔بس ان دو بیٹوں کی شادیاں کر کے سکون کی زندگی گزاروں گی ۔پھر وہ ایکدم میری طرف متوجہ ہوئیں ۔آپ بتائیے آپ کی کیا مصروفیات ہیں ؟ہم نے انھیں بتایا کہ گھریلو کاموں کے علاوہ اسلامی تعلیم یعنی قرآن کو تجوید کے ساتھ پڑھ رہے ہیں ۔بس یہ سننا تھا کہ عرشی باجی ندامت سے سرجھکا کربیٹھ گئيں ۔ان کے چہرے سے مسکراہٹ غائب ہو گئی۔ میری باتیں سنتے ہی انہیں سانپ سونگھ گیا ۔ادھر ہمیں سمجھ نہیں آرہا تھا کہ ایسی کون سی بات کردی ؟

جلدی میں گھر جانے کے لئے کھڑی ہو گئیں ۔ہاں جاتے جاتے ہمارا ہاتھ پکڑ کر بہت اپنائیت سے اپنے گھر آنے کی دعوت دی۔وہ تو چلی گئیں لیکن ان کی مسحور کن شخصیت پھر اس سے بڑھ کر ان کا اتنے پیار سے اپنے گھر بلانا ہمیں رہ رہ کر یاد آتا رہا۔ویسے بھی عرصہ ہوا محلے والوں کا میل ملاپ اب خوشی غمی کا ہی رہ گیا تھا ۔ہفتےبعد ہم نے بیٹے کا ہاتھ پکڑا اور ان کے گھر کی راہ لی۔

کچھ ہی دیر بعد عرشی باجی مسکراتے چہرے کے ساتھ ہمارے سامنے موجود تھیں ۔انتہائی محبت سے ہمارا ہاتھ پکڑ کر گھر کے اندر لے گئیں ۔ایک خوبصورت سجے سجائے کمرے میں بٹھا دیا ۔اچھا تم ادھر بیٹھو ۔اور ایک البم ہمارے ہاتھ میں تھماتے ہوئے بولیں ؟تم میری اور میرے خاندان والوں کی تصاویر دیکھو میں ابھی آئی ۔وہ نہایت پھرتی سے اٹھیں ۔مگر ہمارا دل تو ان کا گھر دیکھنے کو بےقرار تھا ۔سو ہم نے کہا ۔اپنا گھر دکھا دیجئے ۔اچھا اوہ۔ہاں تم پہلی بار آئی ہو نا۔پھر انھوں نے پورا گھر دکھایا ۔گھر تو تھا ہی خوبصورت پراس کی صفائی اور تزئین وآرائش سے سجا کونا کونا خاتون خانہ کے ذوق کی داد دے رہا تھا ۔ پھر عرشی باجی جھٹ پٹ گرم چائے کے ساتھ کباب ۔سینڈوچ بھی لے آئیں ۔وہ دیر تک اپنی زندگی کے بارے میں بتاتی رہیں کہ کتنی جدوجہد و محنت بھری زندگی گزاری ہے ۔آج میں بھی فرصت سے آئی تھی ۔باتیں کرتے ہوئے ایکدم سنجیدہ ہو کر کہنے لگیں بس اب اسلامی تعلیم حاصل کرنا چاہتی ہوں ۔ بس ذرا فرصت ہو جائے ۔ دونوں بیٹوں کی شادی کر دوں ۔ پھر گھر بہوؤں کے حوالے کر کے اپنی یہ خواہش پوری کروں گی ۔جی بالکل ۔میں نے خوشی سے کہا ۔

میں اپنے گھر میں مصروف ہو گئی ۔کبھی ان کے گھر پر نظر پڑتی توان سے ملنے کی ہوک اٹھتی ۔

ایک دن میں اپنے بیٹے کو پڑھا رہی تھی کہ کہیں سے ڈھول بجنے کی آواز آئی ۔میں نے چونک کر کہا یہ آوازیں کہاں سے آرہی ہیں ۔امی وہ نئے گھر میں شادی ہو رہی ہے ۔بیٹے نے بتایا۔ اچھا۔ ۔ ۔ میں پھر پڑھانے میں مشغول ہو گئی ۔دوسرے دن عرشی باجی بمعہ کارڈ کے ہمارے گھر موجود تھیں ۔ بہت خوشی سے بتایا کہ ماشاءاللہ دونوں بیٹوں کی شادی کر رہی ہوں۔ ارںے یہ تو بڑی خوشخبری ہے ۔ہماری خوشی دیدنی تھی ۔اب آپ کوآرام مل جائے گا۔ ہاں پھر میں تمھارے ساتھ ۔۔۔ابھی جملہ پورا نا ہوا تھا کہ ان کے گھر سے بلاوا آگیا ۔

بڑی دھوم دھام سے ساری تقریبات ہوئیں ۔ہم نےبھی بمعہ اہل وعیال شرکت کی ۔عرشی باجی بہت خوش تھیں ۔سب انھیں مبارکباد دےرہے تھے کہ آپ نے اپنی ذمہ داریاں احسن طریقے سے پوری کی ہیں ۔

ابھی ماہ بھی نا گزرا تھا ۔میں باورچی خانے میں کام کررہی تھی کہ شور سنائی دیا ۔دل گبھرایا ۔ یا اللہ خیر ۔ یہ کیسی آوازیں ہیں اور کہاں سے آرہی ہیں ۔بیٹے کو باہر بھیجا ۔چند منٹ بعد بیٹے نے آکر وہ افسوسناک خبر سنائی کہ میں وہیں چکرا کر بیٹھ گئی ۔ ۔ کاش کہ زندگی کچھ اور ٹہرجاتی۔ ۔ ۔ ۔
